Although the series got a surprise late sequel (after the fun, partial misfire, "Tokyo Drift") with "Fast and Furious" it was the real surprise break-out hit "Fast Five" that truly breathed box office power into this franchise's heart.

But if true fans of the series were worried that perhaps, due to the 'non-fans' audience "Fast Five" had picked up, the latest sequel would pander too much to that almost 'World re-boot'…
