Ross Foubister’s review:
A cast that looks unexperienced outside the world of pornographic theatre attempts to bring us a story about legendary monsters and killers, but gets so confused about its backstory that we're left piecing together the gaps in the film's logic in a way that the writers likely never intended. Why are there a medieval legend in America? Why did the main character leave his dying wife to go to sleep in a car in the middle of nowhere? What's funny about the characters not knowing the difference between gerbils and hamsters? I don't know, I don't particularly want to know, and I don't want to remember ever watching this film.
