Started a bit slow but also kept going at that pace, almost until the end. The acting was decent but the plot was disappointing, weird (not in a good way) and the end just really absurd. Walking out thinking WTF.

If you want to see a B movie with an A budget which features some satanists and Nicholas Cage as the bat out of hell, this is the one. We had a pretty good time seeing it. Also, Everlast is in the soundtrack. Haha!

I think this movie is mostly known for it's 70s decor, which yes, is awesome. The (beautiful) lighting is very dramatic and colorful. The movie itself is over-the-top horror in an aesthetic way. But it would be a lot better if it was cut shorter.

Could have been a very nice watch, but the editing choices were weird and at the end I had the feeling some substantial stuff had been left out. The end also reminded me of the German detective series Tatort, which an sich is good, but not in this movie.
