It gets a little bit bogged down in cameos and reference humour, but it's got a lot of heart. Some of the real world things included are way more obscure than I thought it was going to go (Tapper, anyone) and the American candy stuff might not play well in the UK, but fuck it. I got most of it and I like getting stuff other people might not, it makes me feel special.

Slightly drippier than the first, but still retains the charm of Foley and his dynamic relationship with Taggart and Rosewood. The baddies are pretty sloppy, and the ending is more actiony, but for the most part it holds up as a BHC sequel.

A brilliantly realised experiment in atmospherics and character from the team behind Bug. Some seriously dark comic moments peppered with super realistic violence put me in the mind of some of the Coen's earlier work but with the wealth of film-making experience that only Friedkin can bring.

If you imagine school where Wes Craven, Rian Johnson, Gregg Araki, Richard Kelly and Edgar Wright are the faculty; this flick is what gets made in film class.
