Johnny Depp leads an all-star Tim Burton romp in this Gothic Romantic Comedy. I'll keep the review short and sweet, it's definitely not a story with real depth but that is made up for with humour and classic Burton stylings of bright colours mixed with the dull greys of main character Bartemus' vampiric behaviours.
Eva Green plays a great villain and the sub-plot involving Helena Bonham Carter's character is also good fun with a possibility at the end of a sequel (which would go down well with me).
It's not a film to take itself seriously and I haven't seen the original TV Series but if it's even half as entertaining as this then I should definitely try and seek it out to have a little watchey.
Thank you Timothy Burton for another wonderful film.
