I think I was expecting a bit more. The premise is good and the script is tight but outside of David Cross, there aren't really any funny characters. It's not a bad movie by any means but I think I was just expecting more comedy. I would still recommend this (maybe others would like it more then myself) mostly due to David Cross and because it has a pretty great ending. (An extra half star was given because of the ending.)

A heart-warming documentary about Charles Bradley's journey to the stage (as himself). The documentary is well crafted, well shot and Bradley makes for very interesting subject matter. The moral is never give up on a dream, but having given up so much to achieve that dream is it really worth it? This movie says yes but I'm not so sure.

Finally got around to seeing this film and it was pretty much exactly what I expected. An 80's B-movie that is actually a well done satire of the times. A lot of fun and I'm sure I will watch this movie many more times.
