This could perhaps be an extremely effective teaser trailer, it isn't likely, but one can still hope. Thomas Jane reprises his role as Frank Castle/The Punisher in a 10-minute short that was introduced at Comic Con and become a modest viral hit. Directed by Phil Joanou, written by Chad St. John, and guest starring Ron Perlman. Described by Jane as merely a "love letter to Frank Castle and his fans." Well paced and able to have success where its feature length predecessor failed. That isn't to say this is anything significant, its short length doesn't allow that, but it is made by talented individuals with an understanding of the material. With that knowledge, Jane and company's tender tribute will thrill fans with its abundance of gore and dark emotions and leave you desperately wanting more.
