Slow, smart, nicely shot, and perfectly 1970s in look. The one flaw that costs it its final star is the emotion - it's meant to be taut, sure, and lots of these men in this film (and it's ALL men, pretty much) have trained to batten down the hatches on emotion, but we're kinda left wondering what it was all for. Shame, really.
