I had a smile on my face from the opening musical number until well after the end credits rolled. Fantastic tribute to what made the Muppet Show and the original features so wonderful and unique.

Interestingly enough, Affleck's mid-2000's career flameout turned out to be best thing to happen to him as a performer. As a follow-up to 2007's excellent thriller Gone Baby Gone, The Town benefits from a more self-assured eye behind the camera — the highlight of which is a breakneck chase through Charlestown and a tension-filed climax at Fenway Park.
