Philip Seymour Hoffman never fails to disappoint, both in his choice of projects and his passionate performances. Another fine film in a faultless career.

Whilst not capturing the dizzy heights of its predecessor, Rises is a near perfect ending to this saga. I fear it will be a very long time before we get a trilogy of films this great, if at all.
The bar has now been set for fledgling film makers to aspire to. Nolan is the Spielberg of my generation. What next from him - whatever it is, can't wait.....
