Make no mistake, this is an incredibly silly film with a ludicrous plot and all the subtly of a nail-ridden mallet to the groin. However, it’s undeniably an enjoyable hour and a half which raises a few good laughs and certainly keeps its audience entertained. Vacuous, overlong and downright appalling. I struggle to see who this film was really aimed at. Anyone male that I know was bored senseless by it, while female viewers I know have taken issue with characterisation and ideas such as a guy making 'a period mix tape' being either a romantic gesture or particularly funny.
