Some interesting casting decisions made here adds to the charm of this seemingly lighthearted western romp which actually asks a lot of important questions about law vs morality, ownership vs entitlement and just how many punches one man can take.
Shaaaaaaaaane! The old man put me on to this and I was most appreciative despite my disbelief that a hero cowboy could be called Shane.
I have to agree, between that kids crossed eyes and everyone saying Shane every 5 minutes its hard to focus. Why not call him Phil or Dougy or Davo?
