Leighton Trent’s review:
A smart, blackly comedic thriller that features smart acting from everyone except Kingsley. What Kingsley does is 3 tiers above what is smart. His character of Don Logan is so riveting, so blistering, that he buries everyone and everything else around him. The story is short and very compact, but it all works well together and even though it seems like it's more of a character study (which it is), the plot is smarter, cheekier, and more developed than it seems. There is a style and sexiness about the film which I found terrific, but nothing else here matters more than Kingsley's performance.
