Leighton Trent’s review:
What could have come off as trite, silly, or a boring movie about old people who need change in their lives is given meaning and life by a wonderful British cast and a surprising script that only delves into the mawkish on slight occasion (the moments that need to work, do). Nighy and Wilkinson stood out the most to me, but the whole cast has their moments to shine. In the service of formula, this is quite enjoyable, especially with the talent on hand.
