great film. very emotional. very masculine; it left some questions answered but for the most part the plot structure was on-point. Common's performance should get him nominated for something b/c that man has great and astounding screen presence. so did the little boy(who's name i forget at the moment). lots of Black male stars got surprising good and variegated roles, which I appreciated in this white-centric thing we have called Hollywood, nowadays(which is slowly declining). The ending left me with such high surreal expectations for a tv series or something. Overall, I recommend to all my audiences, but especially my Black Men b/c these film shows what a male mentor can be to a young man, these 21st century Amerikkkan days.

pure epic magic. Peter Jackson has found his strong suit with these Tolkein films lemme tell you. the songs weren't even cheesy but fill so nice. kinda disappointed he didn't have the music team to help him on lotr :( but still, the hobbit was WONDERFUL. can't wait till the next film.

Up in Smoke 1978
it was cool for the most part. i was expecting a bit more out of the humor but perhaps they got better in their saga. the humor was very entendre-esque and 'stoner' of course. the seminal scene with the band was quite epic.
