A tense and exciting metaphysical prison drama. Not a description that can be used for many films, but that's what a Prophet is. It follows it's central character Malik, who's thrown into prison for reasons unknown, and is immidiantly snapped up by the Corsican prisoners to murder another inmate for them, or they'll murder him. At 2 and a half hours, it's not a short movie, but with a film as involving as this, you hardly seem to notice the time slipping by.
