I love Attack the Block. It's a brilliantly written and gorgeously shot alien invasion movie set in London's equivalent of the projects. It's scary and funny and smart and just so entertaining, and on top of all that it very deftly converses with poverty and race and power dynamics. I cannot recommend it enough.
