After starting off as yet another shaky handycam pseudo movie I was pleasantly surprised by the camera breaking when chaos ensued after 20 minutes and the movie switched to a conventional made movie - and a good and entertaining one I might add!

The setting and location work nicely, both for the plot and the aspect of filmmaking itself. The actors are okay, the plot is good, the effects are good, it has some gore, some scary shit, a lot of zombies and even some funny moments, not funny as in comedy or slapstick, but still some nice moments of comic relief between all the blood and mayhem.

Rec 3 isn't a groundbreaking genre movie, but all in all a nicely done, quite entertaining, scary and fun zombie flick - what more could you ask for?
