Easy to be mislead by the marketing probably, but I loved it. Great style with a touch of Melville influence in there. And of course a lot of ass kicking.

Gina Carano is great in the role despite (or maybe because of) her lack of formal training in the art of acting. This is the action version of The Girlfriend Experience (another Soderbergh film I adored). The chemistry really isn't there, but that's kind of besides the point when Fassbender gets drop kicked through a glass door.

Also, the film looks incredible.
