The first and the best. I just love the idea behind the Jigsaw character. The acting isn't exactly top-notch, but it was shot in only 18 days. Despite the implication of the actions in the movie, there is suprising little in the way of gore. Most of what we see is what is left over; even the limb-hacking finale only shows the first cut. Anywho, this was a fresh entry to the horror genre when it was initially released, and I feel like it still stand strong today, mostly thanks to the creative story/main character. It is unfortunate that many argeed with labeling it "torture porn" and lumped it together with films like "Hostel" and "The Devil's Rejects," which had little story and excessive gore.
