Flawed but entertaining and remarkably subdued for the subject matter. This is more in the vein of the mad scientist sub-genre than torture porn, the absurd premise is tapped for a lot of uncomfortable laughs, with a wonderfully hammy performance by Dieter Laser. I can only assume Tom Six suffered a serious head injury between the release of this film and the sequel.
