Imagine white anthropologists conducting ethnography on a people and writing books about them which get featured in a movie written by white people based on the toilet book trivia cliffnotes version.
It is as if you mistranslated an ill interpreted sentence thousands of time and used the result as legitimacy granting set dressing for your potboiler.

Perhaps no one has. I don't suppose they even have a name.
Have the flowers had names? What of the name "The African Queen" which flies the british flag? Or the names of the people on whom the camera lingers in the title sequence?

Party 1984
I really loved feeling like I was constantly in the precipice of ironic satire and the author's actual beliefs on this movie. It mostly detracts rather than adds anything to the overall tone and aesthetic, but its fun to be reminded that bollywood movies are also capable of straddling this line.
