Iron Man 3 2013
The perfect superhero movie? So far, for me this is the pinnacle of what a superhero movie can be, great character development, great actors, some twists, good story, good music and perfect pacing.
The best thing about this film, is that it's more in the spirit of the first film, only here it's more about the man Tony Stark, rather than the armor, or even the man in the armor, and it works surprisingly well.

The Raid: Redemption 2012
Ridiculously insane fight scenes make up most of this movie, fight scenes that no other movie i have seen even comes close to. A non insulting plot/story that is told in the 3 or so short non-action scenes that are in this film plus decent actors (read insane fighters and stuntmen) makes this an extremely bloody and over the top action feature.
