Aside from another somewhat infuriating female lead, I loved this film. The soundtrack by Alexi Murdoch gets my heart racing, but the story of a couple just trying to find their place in the world is super touching.
There are some classic moments in this film, fans of Little Miss Sunshine will certainly enjoy it.
I adore John Krasinski, but was so put off by the first 30 minutes of this film (particularly the opening scene, urrgh!) that I stopped watching. Admittedly, this was hour 10 of a long haul flight, so may have to have another go at it.
Yeah I can see how it could be awful if taken in the wrong frame of mind.
Give it another go, Allison Janney's part suits her to the floor and Maggie Gyllenhaal's character is a riot. Melanie Lynskey - as ever my fave. No Manic Pixie Dream Girls.
