Yeah, the film looks great, and it is great accomplishment of how much scope the film has with such a low budget -- but fuck this film! The politics and characters are repugnant. Instead of ostracizing their behavior and actions, the film is romanticizing them. I wanted to throw up.
Yeah, it has bad CGI blood, CGI building (miniatures are still better), and lots of the action sequences that are not groundbreaking as recent acclaim action films, including the comparable plot-wise, The Raid.

Why, David Fincher, did you decide to direct a remake of a film that was just release two years, and was huge hit, before your film got release? Maybe it could of worked of the film took liberties with the source material. Simply put, beside the been there done that status as a remake, most of the problems regarding the film stem from the source material; it simply not a fascinating crime story.
