There are a lot of things wrong with this movie: the slapstick comedy, the buffoonish directing, the villain and of course, Richard Pryor.
I recall the beginning sequence to be rather enjoyable, but watching it again, it's rather flat and the opening credits blur the screen. The plot is dumb and Robert Vaughn is bland and not at all menacing. The only good points are the scenes with Annette O'Toole and Annie Ross turning into a cyborg.
