This is obviously a re-watch as I am showing the kids. Man, what a great film. This is a super hero in the real world. M. Night was still very hot when this was made and I still consider it his best.. or at least my favorite. Bruce Willis and Sam Jackson are just at the top of their game, even though this is a very subdued and quiet film. LOVE James Newton Howard's score for this. I consider this one of the best "super hero" films ever, if not then at least one of the best origin stories. Sure it's not DC or Marvel, but there is a reason for that as M. Night was trying to point out that those books are exaggerated reality.. the "reality" of the characters in the film. Love this film HUGE.
Definitely M. Night's finest hour. Bruce Willis is superb!
