This movie sits neatly at the intersection camp and creepy. An introduction by a distorted, disembodied head warns you that your subconscious mind can commit murder. Murder! Lon Chaney brings the pseudo-sci in the role of a highly successful hypnotist/neurologist. Detective Gregg's job seems to consist entirely of looming up out of the shadows to level evidence-free accusations and insinuation.
