Iron Man 2008

Aayush Arya’s review:
One of the best superhero movies ever made. I’ve watched it several times already and probably will many times more. Robert Downey Jr. puts in such a pitch-perfect turn as Tony Stark—simultaneously witty, savvy, intelligent and just supremely entertaining—that it is hard to find faults with the movie.
The production values are excellent and the special effects are all very well done. At no point do the effects feel artificial, which is something that I very often find distracting in CGI-laden movies.
This is the origin story of Iron Man, of course, and is one of the better origin stories as far as superheroes go. I did not know anything about Iron Man before I watched this movie and this movie made him one of my favourites (after Spider-Man, who remains the best superhero ever created).
What else is there to say? Everything is so great—the actors, the plot, the dialogue, the score, the flight scenes and action sequences, it’s all very well put together. As far as movies go, this one is a winner.
