I'm probably one of 3 people alive who actually really enjoyed this film. Messy, convoluted, dated - yes, all of these things. But for me it was just...fun! Probably would have worked better as a tv series though, not having to cram so much story into a relatively short run time.

Langella absolutely nails Nixon. Ron Howard shoots it like a verbal boxing match. Brilliant.

If Apple made sci-fi, this would be it. Aesthetically pleasing, yes, but ultimately shallow and completely unnecessary. The worst offence is a leaky script that tries to say far too much and "ends" having said not very much of anything.
