Permanent Vacation 1980

BadForTheGlass’s review:
This poignant, embryonic Jarmusch features vignetted encounters between a young jazz-obsessed drifter and a series of curious characters amongst the grime of the New York streets. It's stilted, awkward and feels more formless than it actually is yet as the film progresses these weaknesses gradually become its strengths.
