Beautifully crafted, beautifully acted. A Single Man is a beautiful movie about sadness and despair. Yes, this is the first directing effort from Tom Ford, but as the results, the movie (almost) has every aspect of perfection. Great acting, impeccable costume and art direction; and supported by beautiful music and cinematography. A Single Man is a symbol of talent transformation from Tom Ford.
Note: Firth gave his best performance ever in his career on this movie. And he deserved his Oscar in this movie too rather than in The King's Speech only. I'm sorry, but Bridges acting wasn't as great as Firth did.
