Ronan Doyle’s review:
It's interesting to have a documentary profile a subject so difficult that the director feels motivated to begin with a voiceover explaining that he never could get quite close enough to discover the real man. John Healy's story is an intriguing one, and it's told here with enough attention to detail to make it work as a stirring cinematic experience. In the end it never manages to be a hugely impactful work, but the insight into an interesting character is well worth the ride.
