Old Sly
I love Stallone as an actor. Heck, I even like the man as a director. His best work, though, has always been with a pen in hand. Despite the image his most famous creation has brought him, Sly is a sharp guy, his stories rarely not interesting in one way or another. I've been following his career with huge intrigue since the incredible Rocky Balboa, and I'm glad to see him really make something of his Expendables idea with the latest movie. Here's my ranking of the films he's had a hand in writing. I own all but two of these on DVD. Such a fanboy.

Rocky V in 9th? O_o
He also wrote Driven but it is probably best to forget that one.
Rocky V is, while still being a movie I only give 5/10, one of the most underrated films ever. There's plenty to like in it. Incidentally, the fact the #9 is a 5/10 should tell you a lot about how often Stallone gets it right...
I have Driven on DVD too, bought almost everything of his way back in '08 but got too fed up with them to ever get to Driven. Some day...
You should try watching Tango and Cash. That's the kind of film that really determines whether you actually do like Sylvester Stallone and can sit through a terrible film for the sake of his inclusion.
