    Was a pretty average actioner, although it didn't really have enough action for me. A bit too focused on the car and not enough Knoxville (in the Song Kang-Ho role) to really pull it off.

    The least impressive Kim Jee-Woon to date. Not the big comeback that I think Arnie was hoping for, and not a shade of what Stallone pulled off with Rambo.

    A lot better than I was expecting! Marc Webb has crafted a really good first entry to the new series of Spider-Man films, and I'm excited to see where it goes.

    Peter and Gwen's relationship is a high point, and considering it's from the director of (500) Days of Summer, for me one of the greatest films about love ever made, it's not surprising. Characters are fleshed out and vibrant, even peripheral characters like Flash Thompson have a bit more…

    Caught it late night on ITV4 or something, completely unexpected film, was quite surprised! With the exception of the weird Bane-esque super prisoner, I'd put this up there with JCVD. Was expecting a Death Warrant type of thing, ended up like Midnight Express via Hong Kong.
