The drawn out wide angle shots gave this film an aesthetic that felt enticing and even at times quite dark. The crisp dialogue and interchanges are a credit to the screenplay writing of Clooney and he took on a role stereotypically characterised as a lead, and managed to play it with enough subtlety and poise that the main story was not overshadowed by his place in the cast.
