I struggled to watch the whole film through. I found everything so cold and detached that I stopped caring early on and just wanted the film to end. Maybe I'll come back to it in a year or so and give it another try as I was really looking forward to this film. But on this watch it just annoyed me more than anything else.
A really good atmospheric horror that I didn't have a clue about until I seen @Holliehorror's review. I'm glad I did see her review because I probably wouldn't have even watched it judging by the 'found footage-esque' poster. Everyone goes on about how bad this poster is but it is well deserved.

I remember loving this film as a kid and I can't blame myself. This is a boys dream, the next step up from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Guns, tanks, things blowing up, strange creatures and sexual overtones I was far too young to know about.
Unfortunately many years later re-watching it I was left disappointed. I know this film is considered a disaster but I thought I'd find some greatness in it. I found it in the first two minutes…
