After watching Canet's 'White Little Lies' I was expecting this to be a total disaster. However, overall it wasn't *THAT* bad. Sure, the movie has many plot holes and sometimes there's too much happening on screen that you just can't follow the film pace, but still it's entertaining.
The plot is intriguing and the resolution is ludicrous. It reminded me Spain's 'The Body', another 'whodunit' with an even worse ending.
Not an accomplished director, but an efficient one, Guillaume Canet will keep directing entertaining yet forgettable films like this. My main question is: Where's the american remake? This scream for a better produced american remake!
