Poor. Not funny. Whilst I love Pegg and Frost (Spaced is one of my all time favourites, as is Shaun of the Dead), I feel that this is far too self-referential, and the leads/writers poke fun at their own rather than embracing their knowledge – like they did with Spaced, Shaun and Hot Fuzz which, I know, Edgar Wright wrote but surely they could’ve called the old boy up and said “Look... is this funny?” At which Edgar would have said “No.”
