This is not a perfect film, but comes pretty close. How do you top the best performance by an actor as a villian in the past ten years? You don't try to. Instead, take the story to more complex heights, add a wonderful turn for Catwoman (never mentioned as such), and dazzle us with incredible effects and awesome performances. As close to drama as any comic book based film has ever come, this was made for the fans, but more importantly, made for a wide audience. It will do repeat business. I'm not ever sure I heard everything that was spoken as I watched. What an incredible trilogy - rarely do they just keep getting better. Sorry Shumacher, but I did enjoy LOST BOYS and FLATLINERS.
