I very much wanted to like this movie and I don't exactly mind having seen it, but I didn't particularly like it either. My main problem was the whole "look at us being cute and creative" shtick, which I have never had with a Michel Gondry production before.

I could have easily shrugged that of, if only I had liked the main character. But I couldn't stand him, I couldn't identify with him, I didn't understand what his intention was. ...Except for getting into Stéphanie's pants. Which is a bit thin, as far as plot goes...
