I liked it a bit better the second time around. Robert Downey's banter was amusing. But it was still full of a bunch of plot directions and decisions that left me asking, “Why would they do that?”

I didn't really care for Iron Man 3 – definitely the weakest so far. The action scenes and effects were good. But the plot was slow with lots of twists and decisions that didn't make a lot of sense. Ben Kingsley was awesome though!

12/24/12 - Slap Shot is THE hockey movie. Come on, it has Paul freakin Newman in it. It's really funny at times, but it does drag sometimes too. The Hanson brothers are amazing!

4/12/03 - Road to Perdition was an excellent look at the personal side of a gangster. It was a very touching father-son story with a mob plot backdrop, and the contrasts worked well. The story was pretty subtle with not a lot of dialogue. The music helped fill in the quiet spaces and was excellent. The movie was very nice looking and was well done by Sam Mendes, the director of American Beauty. Hanks, Newman, Law and Tyler Hoechlin all turned in excellent performances.

1/15/12 - We Bought a Zoo was a touching, uplifting story. It's a little contrived with pieces all falling together - which sounds simpler than the real story from what I've read. Great use of music (Sigur Ros, Bon Iver)! Great acting by Matt Damon too.
