Tomorrow Never Dies: letterboxd.com/blackster/film/tomorrow-never-dies/
In at 14: very underwhelming, a lower-tier 007, if not the worst.
The World Is Not Enough: letterboxd.com/blackster/film/the-world-is-not-enough/
In at 11: mid-tier, moments of class, but pretty average overall.
Die Another Day: letterboxd.com/blackster/film/die-another-day/
In at 20: let's just forget this one happened, ok?
Casino Royale: letterboxd.com/blackster/film/casino-royale-2006/
In at 2: wonderful, one of the finest in the franchise, and only a whisker away from being my number 1. If Skyfall is this good, I'll be a happy Bondian.
Quantum of Solace: letterboxd.com/blackster/film/quantum-of-solace/1/
In at 13 - very middling film, not really very Bond, too much of a dark epilogue to Casino Royale.
Peter Travers, critic for Rolling Stone, posted his ranking of the Bond series. It's very surprising! http://rol.st/YVrGFN
GoldenEye at 19 and Die Another Day at 10?!!?!?!
That guy's an idiot.
And both Dalton films at the bottom.
I was really excited to read his list because I'm typically in agreement with his reviews, but I choked quite a bit while going through it.
Yeah, while I don't rate The Living Daylights that highly, it's nowhere near that bad. License to Kill equally is easily mid-table, at least.
Plonker.
