A tedious potboiler with the ineffably good Susan Shaw giving the film its only pulse.

Fascinating, although sometimes maudlin, look at Tim Wakefield and RA Dickey's mercurial careers as knuckleballers. Should be shaved of some time, and probably interminably dreary to anyone but baseball enthusiasts, this doc is still a pretty good diversion.
