'Spartan' Film List
You don't know what Spartan films are? MADNESS!
These are films which essentially are one-act plays. They take place in limited locations (often only one), over a short period of time (often real time) with few characters and generally rely on only dialog to tell the story, rather than traditional action. It's minimalist film making at its finest.

Special mention to the HBO television series "In Treatment" which falls into this same category.

That show was so great. I wish HBO didn't cancel it.
Great list, by the way. I really like/love most of these films.
It's really one of my favorite shows ever, to this day. Doesn't get nearly enough of the recognition it deserves.
Does Cube count?
Sure!
What about Hard Candy?
Rear Window
127 Hours seems a notable omission.
Added!
Buried, Fermat's Room, Panic Room, Unknown (2006), Hunger, Dogville, Funny Games, Inside Man, Hellraiser, Phone Booth, Repulsion, The Mist
Fantastic suggestions! Thanks!
The first Saw film also. Nearly forgot that one.
"Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" also fits.
Also, you only have the original Swedish Funny Games. The American remake also counts, just as much as the remake of 12 Angry Men counts.

Just found another example. Death and the Maiden.
