Good to see The Tree of Life making his latest list.
Tree of Life was never going to win best picture though really. It should have in an ideal world, but since when has the academy gotten most things right?
The Artist was a love letter to Hollywoods past and is an accomplishment in that regard, it was obviously going to be loved by the academy folks because of this.
The Tree of Life is one of the great great films, in the future it will be held in such high esteem I feel.
How Lubezki who worked on TOL did not win Best Cinematography is most startling if anything.
nice to see a herzog film on there. I feel he's always left out when people talk about the greats.
