In my opinion Blade Runner is one of the most beautiful and timeless masterpieces to have come out of any genre, let alone straddling two. It has its own life force. Every single scene is cinematic genius, created with a unique craft and vision, yet at the core of all this style is a deep philosophical meditation on technology, life and what it is to be human. Requiring multiple viewings, it really doesn't matter which ‘cut’ you prefer, because it genuinely deserves that you watch all of them.
