Brian Salisbury’s review:
I love this movie. A politically-conscious superhero film based on the work of brilliant storyteller Alan Moore. I must admit I've not read the graphic novel on which it was based, but I've heard it's fairly faithful. On its own, it is a spectacular, and oddly prescient condemnation of oppressive governmental regimes. Plus, Hugo Weaving is remarkable in the titular role and the knife fights are incredible.

One of my favorites in the genre.
