I must confess, I wouldn’t be as much of a movie fan as I am now if it weren’t for the horror genre. Fear is the most fascinating human emotion and no medium in the arts has it been more sublimely represented and conveyed than in cinema. I was hooked ever since I saw the trailer for Bram Stoker’s Dracula right before Batman Returns in theaters when I was a kid. So in honor of the best genre in film, here’s a list of horror movies that has made a lasting impact on me and of course come highly recommend.

Films I find criminally underrated that should be seen will fill up this space. Also, these are in no particular order. I’ll keep adding as I discover more.
