I know this is a minority opinion but I don't see what all the fuss is about. Though BEASTS aims for originality and emotion, it's not nearly as affecting as TREE OF LIFE or anything else in that vein.

Bravo for doing something different, but I don't think it lives up to the hype. (Sorry.)

So much fun. I'm honestly not even into Channing Tatum types (no hair, big necks, bad actors), but there is so much more going on here than stripper dudes. Soderbergh made it feel like a heartfelt indie movie that just happened to be made up of buff boys who can dance dance dance.

Also Mcconaughey totally brought it and was hilarious. #bongos
